Complete loving

Each one of here today will at one time in our lives look upon a loved one who is in need and ask the same question:

We are willing help, Lord,

but what, if anything, is needed? For it is true we can seldom help those closest to us. Either we don't know what part of ourselves to give or, more often than not, the part we have to give is not wanted.

And so it those we live with and should know who elude us.

But we can still love them -

we can love completely without complete understanding.

오늘 여기 모인 우리들은 일생에 한번쯤은 도움이 필요한 누군가를 위해 소망하며 기도합니다.

기꺼이 그들을 돕겠습니다, 주여.

만약 도움이 필요하다면 그것이 무엇일까요? 그러나 우리는 우리에게 가까운 사람조차도 제때 돕지 못합니다. 또한 우리가 어떤 것을 도와야 하는지도 잘 모르고 오히려 돕지 못하는 경우가 더 많습니다. 심지어 우리가 도움을 주는 부분은 정작 필요없는 부분이기도 합니다.

그래서 우리는 우리가 이해하지 못하는 사람들과 함께 살고 있음을 알아야 합니다.

그러나 우리는 그들을 여전히 사랑하고 있습니다.

우리는 완벽하게 이해할 수 없지만 완벽하게 사랑할 수 있습니다.
